COVID-19

Dear Customer

On 31 January 2020, the World Health Organisation issued a global emergency warning on the outbreak of coronavirus (COVID-19).

Since then, production chains have been interrupted worldwide because several suppliers operations were temporarily suspended or are still suspended. As Sioen Industries is an internationally operating protective apparel company, we are heavily dependent on raw materials and accessories. In addition, some of our own production facilities are, or have been quarantined by the local authorities. Such quarantining varies from country to country, depending upon the severity of the crisis. This is becoming very problematic, as additional un-anticipated delays affect the production chain, making it more difficult to restart than originally planned.

In the meantime, our system-generated lead times for new productions may change. The extent of these longer lead times may depend on the reactivation of the entire supply chain, including transportation. We will do our utmost to keep you informed about this.

Please be assured that we are working hard to minimise the impact of Covid-19 on our customers and end users wherever possible. Although we are doing everything possible to provide you with the usual service during this challenging period, we would kindly ask for your understanding if this is not always to the standard we would both like.

May we finally take this opportunity to wish you good health!

Kind regards
Sioen Apparel
